When it stays on, that means the engine/coolant is waaaayyy to hot for your own good. The light stayin on means youre overheating, and immideately shutting down the engine while it's hot could you to blow the head gasket/warp your head. I thought it was the PSU, so I replaced it with another XPS 8940 PSU and exactly the same results. No power, led light comes on for a few seconds then turns off.
