WebOct 24, 2010 · These are no GDR proof markings. These are proof markings used from 1893 to 1940. It is correct, the GDR used these crown over Letter (crown/S, crown/W, crown/U) also - but the shotgun is not a GDR product. Also, the there is no crown/N marking, what will be present on ANY GDR shotgun.
